REBOUND EXERCISE FOR PREGNANCY
It is
very important to be in good physical shape during your pregnancy.
These exercises will help you to become or remain strong and
physically fit which will make pregnancy, delivery and new
motherhood much easier for you.
Be sure to check
with your doctor before beginning a rebound exercise program.
These exercises are resistive exercises so you will need some soft
weights to hold or to strap to your wrists. We suggest 3 lb weights.

Easy Jog: Hold your weights in each hand, or
strap them on your wrist. Your knees will be higher than when in a
walking position. Swing your arms as if you were jogging. Jog for 3
minutes or more, but don't over-do it. It is much better if you do
several session throughout the day.

Pelvic Rock: Sit in the middle of the rebounder
with legs crossed, Indian fashion. Rock to the right, then to the
left. Do this 25 times.

Back Arch: Get on the rebounder on your hands
and knees. Arch your back as high as you can, then lower your
abdomen as low as you can. Repeat this exercise 10 times. This is a
wonderful stretching exercise and will help alleviate lower back
pain associated with pregnancy.

Crossover Squat: Stand in the middle of the mat with
weights in hand. Keeping your back straight, do a simple squat. Bend
your arms in front of your face and hug yourself while doing the
squat. Return to the standing position. Do this one slowly until you
become confident and competent as the mat will give as you return to
your upright position and may cause you to feel slightly unstable.
This is a great strengthening exercise, but may require a little
practice.
